About The Role
At the G'day Group, we're passionate about creating exceptional holiday experiences while building a portfolio of high-performing tourism assets across Australia. We're seeking an experienced and commercially astute Regional General Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of parks, delivering operational excellence while driving strategic growth and long-term value.
This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives on translating strategy into action, identifying opportunities for growth, and partnering across the business to enhance performance, customer experience and asset value.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Regional General Manager is accountable for the performance, operational effectiveness and value growth of a regional portfolio of parks.
You will provide strategic leadership to park teams while working collaboratively with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, People & Culture, Marketing, Revenue, Investments and Development. With full regional P&L accountability, you'll identify opportunities to improve commercial performance, optimise assets and support future investment decisions that strengthen our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional strategy execution, delivering strong financial, operational and customer outcomes across your portfolio.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities through market insights, commercial initiatives, partnerships and development opportunities.
- Champion regional value creation by improving operational performance, increasing revenue and enhancing asset performance.
- Provide strategic input into capital investment priorities, master planning, acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Build high-performing leadership teams through coaching, accountability and capability development.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to optimise commercial performance and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure parks consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining brand and asset standards.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with councils, tourism bodies, community organisations and regional stakeholders.
About You
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site or regional operations within tourism, hospitality, accommodation, retail or a comparable customer-focused industry.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
- Proven experience driving financial performance, revenue growth and operational improvement.
- Experience managing regional or multi-site P&L performance and balancing commercial outcomes with customer experience.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
- A collaborative leadership style combined with sound commercial judgement and a focus on continuous improvement.
