An exciting opportunity has become available for a Regional Coordinator to join our regional operation team in Queensland on a Fixed-term secondment. Located at our Buderim regional office on the Sunshine Coast, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution while growing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Regional Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and systems support to the Regional Operations Manager, as well as the Sales, Marketing, and Village teams across the region. The role plays a key part in supporting the achievement of regional goals and objectives by ensuring efficient coordination, communication, and administrative processes.

In addition, the Regional Coordinator contributes to the development and implementation of the region’s strategic plan by providing input, insights, and feedback within established frameworks and budget parameters, while aligning with the direction and priorities set by the Regional Operations Manager.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be tasked undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Provide support at village level for special events, employee leave coverage and any other general support that may be required
  • Represent Keyton at village functions and events, including liaising with members of local communities and other relevant organisations to create and maintain positive connections
  • Assist in setting objectives and timelines for the region
  • Provide input and feedback to the Regional Operations Manager to assist in development of a strategic plan for the region
  • Follow up on enquiries and or special requests from villages
  • Assist in preparing relevant and timely communication and reports for the Regional Operations Manager
  • Arrange venues, catering, travel arrangements, agendas and scheduling of guest speakers as required for regional meetings and workshops
  • Schedule and communicate training activities for village teams
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the region
  • Awareness of Keyton’s Safety, Sustainability and Wellbeing Policy and EHS Management System

About You

To be successful in your application, you will have the following;

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in general administration
  • Strong Financial and/or business acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Able to travel to various villages across the region as required
  • Technical or tertiary qualifications or appropriate industry experience in Business or Commerce or Project Management (Desired)
  • Understanding of relevant state Retirement Village Act and Regulations (Desired)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Valid Australian drivers licence (Required)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
