As the IT and Operations Manager based in Melbourne, you will play an integral role in maintaining the organisation's reputation for reliable broadcasting by overseeing both its technological infrastructure and operational workflows. Your days will be filled with diverse tasks ranging from researching innovative solutions with key stakeholders to implementing robust systems that keep broadcasts running smoothly around the clock.

Additionally, you'll have opportunities to contribute creatively by supporting outside broadcasts or assisting with event production when needed.

  • Ensure all technical projects and maintenance activities are delivered punctually, within defined scope, and according to budgetary guidelines to maintain uninterrupted broadcasting services.
  • Oversee or personally perform all aspects of IT support including network administration, hardware and software maintenance, software development initiatives, audio streaming support, and website administration duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the Broadcasting Manager to oversee day-to-day broadcasting operations such as music scheduling and play out systems to ensure smooth delivery of content.
  • Support the development of grant applications or private giving materials related to technical needs while managing projects from inception through completion for all technology-related initiatives at the station.
