The Role

Processes are the backbone of logistics, and this role is about strengthening that backbone. As the National Sea Logistics Process Excellence Expert, you’ll be the driver of operational transformation, ensuring that every workflow, system, and project delivers measurable value.

You’ll act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, combining lean methodology with systemised improvements to boost productivity, data quality, and customer satisfaction. From audits to automation, you’ll be the trusted partner guiding teams toward smarter, faster, and more reliable ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Champion process excellence: Ensure optimal business practices through audits, compliance, and adherence to KN standards.
• Drive improvement projects: Lead initiatives using lean methodology to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Elevate data quality: Analyse and review operational data, implementing solutions that strengthen accuracy and integrity.
• Re‑engineer processes: Support the redesign and implementation of systems and workflows to boost efficiency.
• Apply project management: Develop ROI‑focused project plans aligned with corporate strategy.
• Enable automation: Create system‑based solutions that optimise operations and reduce manual effort.
• Support documentation: Produce training guides and business process documentation to empower teams.
• Collaborate for success: Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in project management and process improvement.
• 5–10 years’ experience in Sea Logistics, with exposure to IT systems.
• Strong technical understanding of Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
• Communication, influencing, and motivation skills.
• Ability to translate process issues into systemised solutions.
• Project management and change management expertise.
