Role Description

We are seeking experienced Senior and Principal Power Systems Engineers to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and implementation of power systems projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage power systems studies (GPS studies), including technical studies load flow, short-circuit, and dynamic stability analyses.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and design calculations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated power solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Ability to travel, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in power system technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years (Senior) or 7 to 10 years (Principal) experience in power systems engineering.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, DigSILENT).
• Strong understanding of relevant Australian standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work to deadlines and exceed client expectations.
