Partnering closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide trusted advice on employee relations matters, navigate complex people challenges and support key moments throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines coaching, problem-solving and strategic partnering, giving you the opportunity to build leadership capability, drive positive workplace outcomes and contribute to a high-performing culture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, development, engagement and offboarding.
- Provide ongoing support for Workday processes and users, including system guidance, issue resolution, testing, process optimisation and adoption of new functionality.
- Partner with People Services and Payroll to improve processes, maintain data integrity and enhance the employee experience.
- Build strong relationships with leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice on people matters.
- Manage employee relations cases including performance, conduct, workplace investigations, grievances and policy interpretation.
- Coach leaders to confidently manage people issues and build high-performing teams.
- Prepare employee relations documentation, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Identify emerging trends and risks, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role with a strong employee relations focus.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive people matters with confidence and sound judgement.
- Exceptional relationship-building, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills.
- Experience using HR systems and case management tools; Workday experience will be highly regarded.
