As our business continues to grow across Australia and internationally, we are looking for a practical, hands-on Technical Operations Officer to become part of our operations team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem solving and working both in the office and in the field.
About the Role
Reporting to the Directors, you will assist with the day-to-day delivery of Voltin's inspection and technology services.
No two days are the same. You may be preparing equipment for deployment, assisting with building inspections, processing inspection data, testing new technology, supporting customers or helping improve our AI-enabled inspection platform.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys learning new technology and wants to develop a long-term career in an innovative Australian technology company.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivering building inspection projects
- Prepare and maintain Voltin inspection equipment
- Support field inspections using robotics, drones and digital imaging equipment
- Assist with data capture, image management and report preparation
- Maintain inspection records and operational documentation
- Coordinate logistics and equipment for projects
- Support development and testing of new technology
- Work with engineers, facility managers and customers
- Assist with quality assurance and operational improvements
- Contribute to safe work practices and continuous improvement

Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded:
- Commercial building maintenance
- Facility management
- Building condition assessments
- Asset inspections
- Engineering support
- Height safety systems
- Rope access or BMU operations
- UAV (Drone) operations
- CASA RePL or AROC certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Thermal imaging
- Photography or digital imaging
- GIS or digital mapping
- AI or digital technologies
Don't worry if you don't have experience in all of these—we're looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications
Formal qualifications are not essential.
Relevant trade qualifications, certificates or industry experience are highly regarded.
