We are now looking for a Melbourne-based Wedding Content Creator to join us on wedding days and capture short-form content for social media.

Role Description

This is a freelance on-site role for a Wedding Content Creator based in Melbourne, VIC.

The role is focused on capturing wedding day content using an iPhone or similar mobile setup. You will capture behind-the-scenes moments, candid clips, details, venue atmosphere, couple moments and natural interactions throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who can work quickly, spot real moments, and create simple, clean short-form edits directly from their phone for Instagram Reels, TikTok and social media use.

This is not a traditional videographer role. You will work alongside our photography and videography team and focus on fast, natural and social-first content.

Responsibilities

Capture short-form vertical content on wedding days using an iPhone or mobile setup

Create quick social media edits directly from your phone

Capture behind-the-scenes moments, candid clips, venue details and couple interactions

Work closely with our photo and video team without interrupting the wedding flow

Deliver organised raw clips and short edited videos in a timely way

Represent Jay Chubby Wedding professionally with couples, guests and vendors

Qualifications

Experience creating Reels, TikToks or short-form social media videos

Confident shooting and editing on iPhone or mobile apps

Good eye for natural moments, details and emotion

Comfortable working in fast-paced wedding or event environments

Reliable, punctual and professional

Good communication skills

Based in Melbourne or surrounding areas

Weekend availability required

A wedding portfolio is preferred, but not required. If you have experience with events, lifestyle, fashion, couple shoots, BTS content or social media content, we would still love to see your work.
