About the Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse ready to support individuals with complex mental health needs in the community? Join our caring, multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in helping people on their recovery journey.
Position: Grade 4 Registered Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Adult PARC, Narre Warren
Type: Full-Time, Ongoing role.
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, across 7 days.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver mental health support in a community setting
Conduct assessments and develop care plans
Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with clinicians and peer workers
Supervise social workers
Engage families and external services to support recovery
About Adult PARC
Adult PARC (Prevention and Recovery Care) is a 10-bed, short-term residential facility for adults aged 25–65 experiencing or recovering from acute mental illness. As part of Monash Health’s Mental Health Program, APARC offers:
Step Up: Intensive support to prevent hospital admission
Step Down: Continued care following hospital discharge
Managed in partnership with Wellways, APARC provides holistic, evidence-based treatment and recovery-focused activities in a supportive environment.
About You
You’re a senior clinician with strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with inpatient and community teams to identify clients who would benefit from APARC. You’re committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based recovery services and contributing to ongoing service evaluation.
