About the Role
Join the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and provide evidence-based mental health assessment, early intervention and treatment for children and young people aged 0–15 years and their families. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll support children and families to achieve positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive assessments, recovery-oriented care and risk management, while collaborating with families, community services and education providers. You'll also contribute to clinical supervision, professional development and continuous improvement across the service.
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
Deliver evidence-based treatment and recovery-focused care
Provide risk assessment and safety planning
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Participate in clinical supervision and professional development
Partner with families and community services to support care
Skills & Experience
Eligible for clinician classification in your discipline
AHPRA registration or AASW membership (Social Work desirable)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commitment to recovery and strengths-based practice
Experience supporting children and families is desirable
