Position overview

The UniSafe Administration Assistant is a key support role within the ANU UniSafe function, operating under the Operations portfolio of the Campus Environment Division. The role contributes to the delivery of a safe, secure, and well-managed university environment by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the UniSafe (Security) team. Working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across campus, the Administration Assistant helps ensure efficient day-to-day service delivery and responsive support to the University community.

Key responsibilities include handling general enquiries, providing accurate information regarding University policies and procedures, and escalating complex matters to appropriate staff. The role also supports administrative and operational activities across the Facilities & Services Division as required. Duties include preparing and issuing documentation with accuracy and within required timeframes, maintaining records, and assisting with the preparation and formatting of regular and ad hoc reports. The position is responsible for maintaining data integrity within internal systems, including the Electronic Records Management System (ERMS). The role also fosters effective working relationships across campus, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and supports compliance with University policies, including work health and safety and equal opportunity requirements.
