A generalist People & Culture Advisor is required for this large, complex business, based South of the River.
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join a collaborative and high-performing People & Culture team. This is an opportunity to partner with leaders and employees across a complex, multi-site environment, providing expert HR advice and delivering people initiatives that support organisational success.
The role will report to the People & Culture Operations Manager, providing end-to-end generalist HR support across employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, workforce planning, leadership coaching, organisational development and change initiatives.
Working closely with business leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping to resolve people matters, strengthen leadership capability and implement practical people solutions aligned to business objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert HR advice to managers and employees on people-related matters.
- Managing employee relations cases, including grievances, investigations and performance matters.
- Coaching leaders on people management, workplace issues and best-practice HR approaches. Interpreting and applying Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
- Supporting workforce planning, succession planning, onboarding and retention initiatives.
- Contributing to the implementation of people strategies and organisational change programs.
- Driving continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, policies and systems.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.
You will be a proactive and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building relationships and providing practical, solutions-focused advice. You will possess proven experience in a generalist People & Culture role with strong employee and industrial relations knowledge. You will have a working knowledge of interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.
