We’re working with a well-established WA commercial construction contractor specialising in fitout and refurbishment projects across Perth Metro, who are seeking an experienced

Contract Administrator to join their growing delivery team.

This business is known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, government, education, healthcare and hospitality sectors, with a strong pipeline of work ranging from small works through to $10M projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to delivery, working across multiple live projects, and taking ownership of the commercial and subcontractor side of project delivery.

About The Role

As a Contract Administrator, you will support the successful delivery of 2–3 concurrent fitout and refurbishment projects, working closely with experienced Project Managers and Site Managers, this is a hybrid role located out of Wangara.

You will be embedded in the project team, involved across the full project lifecycle from procurement through to final account, with genuine ownership of subcontract packages and commercial outcomes.

Projects are typically fast-paced, detail-driven fitout environments, where strong organisation and proactive commercial management are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end subcontract procurement including scope preparation, tendering, levelling, award and ongoing administration
  • Management of subcontractor packages across multiple live projects
  • Cost control, forecasting and monthly financial reporting
  • Preparation and management of variations, including assessment, negotiation and agreement
  • Progress claims, subcontractor payment certification and invoice management
  • Support head contract administration including EOTs, notices and project correspondence
  • Assist with procurement strategy and packaging to achieve best value outcomes
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial alignment with programme and delivery
  • Identify and manage commercial risks across active projects

About You

  • 3–7 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction
  • Fitout and/or refurbishment experience highly regarded
  • Salary up to $150k + super
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor management, procurement and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder engagement
  • Proactive, organised and commercially minded approach
