About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable, and professional Venue Host to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless arrival experience while supporting the daily operations of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Manage reservations and seating using our booking system.
• Coordinate guest arrivals and waitlists efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant, bar, and floor teams to ensure smooth service.
• Answer guest enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Provide accurate information about the venue, menus, and events.
• Assist with special occasions and VIP guest experiences.
• Maintain a polished reception area and uphold venue presentation standards.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where required.

About You

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a host, receptionist, or front-of-house team member in a premium hospitality venue.
• Experience using reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar.
• Strong customer service background.
• Valid Australian working rights.
