Full Time Fixed Term – 8 months (Leave cover from October 2026 to June 2027) | 40 hours per week including a monthly ADO!
About The Role
Join the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service Programs Team and help deliver evidence-based early intervention programs that support children, families and schools across the Ballarat and Grampians region.
In this role, you will facilitate parent and child group programs, deliver the School Parents and Resilient Kids (SPARK/CASEA) program in primary schools, work alongside lived experience staff, and contribute to service improvement through program evaluation and collaboration with education and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate evidence-based group programs for parents and children
- Deliver the SPARK (CASEA) early intervention program in schools
- Provide professional development and support to school staff
- Complete child and family biopsychosocial assessments
- Deliver recovery-oriented care, risk assessment and referrals
- Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Eligible for senior clinician classification in your discipline
- AHPRA registration or AASW membership (Social Work - desirable)
- Strong group facilitation and presentation skills
- Effective communication with families, schools and services
- Commitment to recovery and strengths-based practice
