We are seeking a dedicated People & Culture Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will assist in delivering our people and culture strategy, implementing People and Culture initiatives that align with our organisation's goals and values. You will support employee engagement, development, and well-being, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. Additionally, you will coach and partner with managers, collaborate with other leaders, and build strong relationships across the business to provide solution-oriented outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you'll partner closely with operational leaders across multiple sites to provide practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a hands-on advisory role where you'll build trusted relationships with managers, coach leaders through employee relations matters and contribute to initiatives that strengthen capability, engagement and workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to deliver practical people solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide advice and coaching on employee relations, workplace issues, performance management and grievances.
- Support leaders with interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies and employment legislation.
- Assist with talent management, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support organisational change and business improvement projects.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and remuneration activities.
- Deliver coaching, guidance and capability development for leaders across the business.
About You
You'll bring
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or People & Culture Advisor position.
- Strong employee relations case management experience.
- Experience supporting operational or blue-collar workforces.
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- The confidence to coach and influence leaders through workplace matters.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
