About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, supporting, and maintaining enterprise software solutions while contributing to automation initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and support automation capability for existing systems and recommend/design new structures and tools that meet business requirements and target environments.
• Integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software.
• Translate logical designs into physical designs and integrate software using Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Monitor systems and infrastructure and provide support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and maintain automated testing and provide feedback on implementation and design aspects.
• Design and implement databases for operational systems.
• Develop complex programs using a variety of software languages and development environments.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality software through collaboration, technical expertise, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing software using Java and Python.
• Experience developing applications using React.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools including Puppet, Ansible, and Docker.
• Experience working within Agile Software Development environments.
• Strong understanding of software integration, automation, and testing practices.
• Experience with database design and implementation for operational systems.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team while contributing to software quality and delivery.
