The Role

Join our Supply Chain Services team as a Contract Management Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in supporting TasWater's contract management systems and supplier pre-qualification processes. You'll ensure contract data integrity, provide expert advice and training to stakeholders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain strong governance, compliance, and contractor performance across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, improving processes, and making a tangible impact on how contracts and suppliers are managed.

  • Coordinate and maintain TasWater's contract management systems, ensuring contract information is accurate, compliant, and up to date.
  • Apply expertise in supply chain support services to identify opportunities to develop / improve contract management processes at TasWater.
  • Manage the supplier pre-qualification process, supporting contractors and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with safety, risk, and governance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across the business by providing expert advice, training, and support on contract management processes and systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing contract performance, enhancing processes, and contributing to projects that improve contract and contractor management across the organisation.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with experience in contract or business administration. You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working with a diverse range of stakeholders, has a passion for improving processes, and can balance compliance, governance and customer service. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy using systems and data to drive better outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Diploma or direct equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Contract Administration, or equivalent field.
  • Proven experience in, business administration or similar roles in medium to large matrix environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to provide advice, training and support to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining data integrity, compliance and governance standards.
  • Effective time management and task prioritisation skills

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart or Launceston and attracts a salary of $106,708.64 - $112,636.89 (inclusive of superannuation)
