We are seeking an experienced

Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Darwin, supporting our customer through a 12-month secondment opportunity. Acting as the Worley representative within the client organisation, you will play a key role in the safe, quality and successful delivery of capital projects across a complex operating facility.

This position offers the opportunity to oversee projects ranging from approximately $100K to $15M total installed cost (TIC), with an initial focus on delivering an onsite building facilities project. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple locations, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with budget and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Worley within the client organisation, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the execution and delivery of capital projects from development through to completion.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, budget and schedule performance.
  • Oversee contractors delivering engineering, design, procurement and construction scopes.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple disciplines and locations.
  • Provide project leadership within a complex processing facility environment.
  • Ensure compliance with client systems, processes and governance requirements.
  • Support future opportunities as a Worley representative across multiple customer accounts.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a Senior Project Engineer or similar project delivery role.
  • Proven experience working within complex processing facilities, ideally in oil and gas, LNG, resources or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong experience overseeing contractors across engineering, procurement and construction activities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a client organisation while representing Worley's values and standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience coordinating teams and stakeholders across multiple office locations.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
  • Current residency in the Darwin region or ability to be based locally.
