Purpose of the Role

This role is designed to provide essential administrative and program support across the organisation, ensuring that core operations and Rebus Theatre’s various programs run efficiently.

It is suitable for emerging Producers, Event Managers and Arts Workers wanting to work in the Performing Arts and COmmunity Cultural Development sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Perform day-to-day administrative duties to support the CEO, staff, and project delivery teams.
  • Provide basic communications support, including managing shared inboxes, coordinating internal communications, minuting meetings, and assisting with scheduling.
  • Support evaluation processes, including, collecting and tabulating quantitative data, assisting with collecting qualitative data, tabulating qualitative data.
  • Monitor and manage Rebus Theatre’s public interfacing account and the Rebus Theatre phone.
  • Support internal communications socials and newsletter management.
  • Monitor, capture and report on online and legacy media pertaining to Rebus Theatre and Rebus Theatre projects.
  • Assist with grant applications and acquittals, collecting materials, providing data, research etc.
  • Assist with staff, Board and Intersectional Advisory Group onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Other ad hoc administrative tasks, as required

Program support

  • Assist the Workshop Coordinator, where required, with contacting participants, invoicing, tutor management, promotion etc.
  • Provide support for Program Producers and Managers as needed.
  • Collect, store and keep updated Rebus artist, Rebus staff and Rebus Board and Intersectional Advisory Group media profiles.
  • Coordinate small events and workshops under the supervision of either the Artistic Director or Program Managers.
  • Support events and programs by taking on front of house, bar or stage managerial duties.

Conditions

  • Permanent Part-time
  • 12 month contract
  • Hours per week: 20
  • Award Rate: Production and support staff - Other production and support staff - Full-time & part-time, Level 4
  • Pay Rate: $29-$34 + superannuation (depending on experience). Salary packaging available according to ATO guidelines for charities
  • Reports to: Company Manager
