What you'll contribute to

A fantastic opportunity for an Accessory Inventory Analyst to join our Aftersales division in a max term role for 12 months.

The Aftersales Division is responsible for driving Toyota's national Parts and Accessories business through the planning, coordination, and delivery of sales, procurement, supplier management, dealer support, business development, and warehouse operations activities. The division partners closely with dealers and suppliers to maximise sales performance, market share, customer satisfaction, and profitability, while ensuring efficient and sustainable supply chain and warehouse operations aligned with global best practice standards.

The Accessory Inventory Analyst plays a key role in supporting the successful management of Toyota's Accessories inventory by delivering accurate forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Working closely with the Accessory Inventory team, this role is responsible for the timely execution of inventory planning activities and reporting requirements, ensuring stock availability, optimising inventory performance, and contributing to the efficient operation of the accessories supply chain.

This role is based on site at our Altona North office.

How you'll make an impact

  • Manage accessory inventory planning and replenishment activities to ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand and business requirements across Toyota and Lexus operations.
  • Support inventory control and supply chain processes by monitoring stock levels, assisting with replenishment activities, and helping ensure the right products are available at the right time and location.
  • Coordinate ordering and inventory movements for locally and internationally sourced accessories, optimising stock distribution, minimising excess inventory, and reducing the risk of obsolescence.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory performance using key supply chain metrics, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to support service, availability, and cost objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory reporting and analysis that provides stakeholders with accurate and timely information to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining inventory management procedures, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring processes and documentation remain accurate and up to date.

  • Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a related operational environment, ideally within a fast-paced organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support effective business decision-making.
  • Well-developed organisational and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and working autonomously when required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP S4, with an understanding of inventory, parts, or supply chain operations highly regarded.
