Royal Far West is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for delivering key financial operations, payroll oversight and finance business partnering services that support the organisation’s strategic and operational objectives.
Working closely with General Managers, Executive leaders and cost centre managers, you will provide high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, compliance and analysis. You will play a key role in month-end processes, cashflow management, grant acquittals, payroll administration, statutory reporting and the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and full membership (or working towards membership) of a recognised Australian accounting body such as CPA, CA or IPA.
- Significant experience in a Finance Manager or similar financial management role within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of Pivot Tables, together with experience using financial management systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships and provide financial advice across all levels of an organisation.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within the not-for-profit, health or community services sector.
- Experience with health sector funding, NDIS funding, ACNC reporting requirements, BAS/FBT reporting and systems such as EPICOR or ELMO.
