Engagement: Long-term engagements across FY26 & FY27

Join FinXL's software development practice as a Full Stack Software Engineer for a long-term engagement within a leading wealth management program! Based in any major Australian city, you will play a key role in a major transformation initiative by delivering significant technical enhancements and driving advice automation solutions & AI Integrations.

About the role: While this is a Full Stack position, we are seeking back-end focused engineers who approach feature development with an end-to-end mindset. You will be joining a dedicated Java tech-stack, contributing heavily to the uplift of a major Wealth technology platform.

Core Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

• Hands-on, proven experience with Java, Angular, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.

The Tech Environment

• Back-End & Databases: Java, JPA, Hibernate, MariaDB, NoSQL, and MongoDB, working with client JSON objects.
• Front-End: Vue.js and Angular.

The Ideal Candidate

• You have proven experience working in a complex corporate environment, with a strong understanding of strict compliance standards and frameworks.
• You are a back-end leaning developer who can comfortably navigate a new, varied tech stack to deliver end-to-end features.
• Bonus: Any prior experience within the Wealth Management, Superannuation, or Financial Advisory sectors is highly desirable!
