About the Rolee

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, brand-aligned visual design across print and digital channels. As a Designer (Mid-Weight), you will apply strong conceptual thinking and craft to bring campaigns, collateral, communications, and storytelling to life.

You will produce a wide range of creative assets, while also supporting digital content needs, such as storyboarding, capturing content and video editing for digital channels.

You will collaborate closely with the Customer Experience & Engagement team to translate strategic objectives into compelling, audience-focused design that strengthens brand consistency, drives engagement, and supports organisational impact.

Reporting to the Creative and Design Lead, the Mid-Weight Designer will be responsible for duties such as:

  • Create high-quality visual assets for print and digital (campaigns, Collateral, social, events)
  • Apply design principles while ensuring brand consistency and quality standards
  • Develop engaging content for social and digital platforms
  • Simplify complex ideas into clear, visually compelling formats
  • Produce and edit short-form video content with basic motion graphics
  • Work closely with your fellow team members to plan, deliver, and refine creative outputs
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas
  • Support strong visual storytelling aligned to organisational goals
  • Improve design processes, tools, and templates while staying current with trends

About you

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a design role (agency or in-house) with a strong print and digital portfolio
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and proficient in Canva
  • Strong understanding of design principles, branding, and translating strategy into creative output
  • Excellent time management, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Passion for purpose-driven work and high-quality storytelling
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
  • Experience in not-for-profit, government, or purpose-led organisations Desirable
  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects) Desirable
  • Photography or content capture experience
