We are looking for an experienced
Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise data platforms. This strategic role will define the organization's data architecture roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that enable analytics, AI, and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Lead architecture across Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
- Design scalable data lakes, lakehouses, analytics, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, metadata, MDM, data quality, and lineage.
- Architect enterprise integration using REST APIs, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Enable enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, and Business teams to deliver strategic data solutions.
Required Skills
- 10+ years' experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or Solution Architecture.
- Extensive expertise in Snowflake architecture, governance, security, performance tuning, Snowpark, Streams & Tasks, and cost optimisation.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Server, and modern Lakehouse architectures.
- Expertise in Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, and Data Lineage.
- Experience designing enterprise integration using REST APIs, Kafka, Azure Integration Services, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, Data Vault, Kimball Methodology, and enterprise data modelling.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Desirable
- Microsoft Purview or similar data governance tools.
- Experience with AI-ready data platforms and enterprise analytics.
- Background in large enterprise or regulated environments.
