GRPS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a resources project. In this influential leadership position, you will oversee the coordination of critical project phases, bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives, manage key risks and dependencies, and ensure a safe, efficient and successful transition into sustained operational performance.

About The Role

Shape the successful transition from project delivery to operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you'll drive integrated project management across readiness, operations and maintenance, ensuring people, systems, processes and governance frameworks are fully established and ready for success. Working across multiple stakeholders, you'll play a key role in preparing our teams to seamlessly commence operations and maximise long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operations readiness, mobilisation, commissioning and project start-up activities
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting requirements
• Support the development and execution of commissioning plans
• Drive operational readiness activities across cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations and GRPS standards
• Oversee implementation and testing of operational systems including CMMS, PTW and HSE reporting systems
• Coordinate asset data migration, maintenance strategies and operational documentation
• Provide leadership reporting, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain strong focus on HSEQ compliance and safe project delivery

About You

You are a highly organised and commercially minded project leader with strong commissioning and operational transition experience across the minerals and resourcing sector.

You Will Bring

• 10+ years’ experience in operations readiness, mobilisation, commissioning or operational transition projects within mining, minerals or processing industries
• Strong project management capability across risk, schedule, governance and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated experience delivering O&M mobilisation or readiness programs
• Knowledge of Australian WHS and regulatory frameworks
• Experience implementing operational systems such as CMMS, PTW or HSE reporting platforms
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast paced project environments

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management or related discipline
• Project Management or Asset Management qualifications highly regarded
• WHS qualifications or demonstrated WHS legislative knowledge advantageous
