In-App Campaign & Engagement Specialist

South Melbourne, VIC | Hybrid (Work from home every Monday) 4 days per week in the office

$90,000–$120,000 + Biannual Bonus (Bonuses in June and July)

Full-Time | Working hours - 10:00am–6:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm (please don't apply if you cannot do these working hours)

Our client is looking for an experienced In-App Campaign & Engagement Specialist to join their growing Product team. About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Leader, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, launching and optimising in-app campaigns that drive user retention, engagement, conversion and revenue.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics and Operations teams, you'll translate business objectives into structured campaign logic, user journeys and product requirements before analysing results and continuously improving campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-app campaign calendars aligned with retention, reactivation, conversion and ARPU objectives
  • Design campaign mechanics including eligibility rules, rewards, user journeys and interaction flows
  • Prepare clear PRDs and campaign briefs for Product and Engineering teams (Axure/Figma experience is advantageous)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams from concept through to launch and optimisation
  • Analyse campaign performance including funnel metrics, cohorts, ROI and uplift
  • Identify opportunities through customer segmentation, behavioural insights and market trends
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives
  • Work closely with Product Operations and Analytics teams to measure success and drive continuous improvement

About You

You'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Product Planning, Growth, CRM/Lifecycle Marketing or In-App Campaign Management within consumer internet or mobile applications (3+ years considered for exceptional candidates)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
  • Experience with Axure, Figma or similar wireframing tools
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions using dashboards and campaign analytics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with gamification including promotions, bonuses, missions or leaderboards
  • Experience within gaming, sports, fintech, subscription or other consumer digital products
  • SQL or campaign analytics experience
  • Knowledge of user segmentation, churn prevention or VIP customer programs
  • Experience within the online betting industry
  • Previous leadership or people management experience
  • Mandarin language skills
