Your New Role
Reporting to the IAM Engineering Lead, you'll contribute to the delivery and evolution of our Identity & Access Management platforms, supporting both strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the organisation.
You'll work closely with Technology, Information Security, Operations and senior stakeholders to ensure our identity services remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the future direction of identity services at Aware Super while working across modern cloud and hybrid identity technologies.
What you'll do:
- Design, analyse and deliver Identity & Access Management solutions across modern technology environments
- Administer and enhance enterprise identity platforms including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex IAM incidents and escalations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance security, operational efficiency and user experience
- Collaborate with Information Security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities and emerging threats
- Embed security requirements into solution design and delivery
- Support the automation of identity provisioning and lifecycle processes, including integration with ServiceNow
- Contribute to the IAM technical roadmap and help shape the future of digital identity at Aware Super
- Partner with technology teams to manage dependencies and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
How do you exceed our expectations?
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Azure across complex hybrid environments
- Strong expertise in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including design, administration and troubleshooting
- Proven experience managing Group Policies (GPOs), Organisational Units (OUs), Trusts and Forests within enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of authentication protocols, including Kerberos and NTLM
- Experience implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using OAuth, SAML and OpenID Connect
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID security capabilities, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
- Experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Access Packages and Identity Governance practices
- Demonstrated capability supporting hybrid identity platforms, including Azure AD Connect and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Comprehensive understanding of user lifecycle management processes, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver workflows
- Experience using enterprise monitoring and security tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Rapid7 and CrowdStrike to investigate, troubleshoot and remediate issues
