About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized projects across City Projects, generally valued at up to $1 million. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with agreed scope and quality requirements.
Working across the full project lifecycle, you will develop business cases, establish project plans, manage procurement and tender processes, and oversee consultants and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes. You will also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, contract management, project governance and reporting, ensuring strong collaboration and communication throughout delivery.

About You
You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering civil infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. With proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, you are highly organised, outcome-focused and capable of balancing competing priorities while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
You bring sound knowledge of project management methodologies, construction contracts and building industry practices, along with the ability to effectively manage consultants, contractors and project stakeholders. Your strong relationship-building skills enable you to engage with diverse stakeholder groups, navigate competing priorities and influence positive outcomes.
A proactive and solutions-focused professional, you are recognised for your analytical thinking, sound judgement and ability to resolve complex issues. Combined with your excellent communication skills and commitment to quality project delivery, you thrive in a dynamic environment and consistently deliver successful project outcomes.
What Your Experience Might Look Like
- 3-5 years' experience in civil project management delivery of high-value small to medium projects in a large and diverse organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple projects on time, to budget and to client satisfaction within a structured reporting framework.
- Sound understanding of project management methodologies and a demonstrated understanding of standard forms of construction contracts and building industry practices.
- High level relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders with broad and often competing expectations and needs.
- Proven ability to manage external consultants and contractors, ensuring high performance and taking decisive corrective action when required to achieve successful project outcomes.
