Overview Of The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst in our Digital Customer Tribe, you’ll help deliver a diverse program of digital change across Suncorp’s Insurance brands. Working across digital assets, applications and platforms, you’ll translate business needs into clear, practical requirements that enable teams to deliver better customer outcomes.
You’ll be part of Suncorp’s large Analysis Chapter — a community of around 300 analysts who share ideas, best practice and practical learning through events, masterclasses and knowledge-sharing activities. You’ll work in Agile, continuous delivery environments and contribute to meaningful digital change at scale.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with business, product, delivery and technology stakeholders to understand problems, shape options and support delivery outcomes.
- Elicit, analyse and document requirements through workshops, interviews, discovery activities and process analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and other analysis artefacts.
- Apply Agile ways of working to support backlog refinement, estimation, delivery planning and continuous improvement.
- Use your understanding of digital platforms, applications and customer journeys to identify risks, dependencies and practical solution considerations.
- Work through ambiguity using structured analysis, sound judgement and a consultative approach.
- Support testing, change readiness, training and business implementation activities.
- Document current and future-state processes, highlighting opportunities to simplify and improve.
- Contribute to a delivery culture built on transparency, pace, collaboration and trust.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst in digital, technology or transformation delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of digital assets, applications, platforms and the digital delivery lifecycle.
- Experience delivering change across digital platforms and processes including AI
- Confidence using AI, automation or data-informed thinking to improve analysis quality, decision-making and delivery outcomes.
- Proven ability to elicit, define and translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests using established tools and frameworks.
- Practical experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira and Confluence to document, plan and track work.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, adaptability, communication and collaboration skills.
- A curious, adaptable and continuous-learning mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively and work through complexity.
- Insurance industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
