Senior Team Leader - Re-Engagement

Compare Club

  • Mentor existing Team Leaders
  • Lead an agile Re-Engagement team
  • CBD location - close to public transport

About The Role

At Compare Club, we are looking for a results-driven Senior Team Leader to act as a key driver of performance and results. This is a "leader of leaders" position where you will bridge the gap between high-level sales strategy and day-to-day execution.

In this role, you will help refine our coaching frameworks, step in to lead regular sales meetings, and provide informal mentorship to our existing Team Leaders to help them grow. To stay grounded in the front-line operation, you will also directly lead and support a small team of Re-Engagement Agents.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leadership & Professional Development: Mentor Team Leaders on how to effectively coach their respective teams, and run "coach-the-coach" sessions alongside the GM.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the General Manager to roll out effective sales strategies and champion our established sales process.
  • Performance & Data Analysis: Review team and individual sales metrics to identify optimization opportunities, manage underperformance, and run Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary.
  • Operational Projects: Lead ad-hoc performance uplift projects and design creative, positive-ROI incentive programs.
  • Recruitment & Culture: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to interview and select high-quality sales talent, while upholding clear professional standards within the office.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Tenure: 3+ years of experience leading sales teams within a telesales or contact centre environment.
  • Management Experience: At least 1+ years of experience directly managing and developing sales team leaders.
  • Practical Skills: A strong grasp of modern sales and negotiation techniques, combined with proficiency in CRM platforms and Google suite.
  • The Right Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in coaching and mentoring others. We value people who take accountability for their outcomes and approach challenges with critical thinking.
