OT Platform SME / Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced OT Platform SME / Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing, modernising, and governing mission-critical electricity grid management platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GE GridOS, SCADA, EMS, ADMS, WAMS, DERMS, and related OT technologies, driving architecture strategy, OT/IT convergence, and utility transformation initiatives. This role requires strong consulting, stakeholder management, and solution architecture skills to deliver resilient, secure, and future-ready grid operations platforms for electricity transmission and distribution utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the OT platform architecture, target-state strategy, and transformation roadmap for electricity transmission and distribution grid management systems.
• Lead the design, implementation, modernization, and governance of OT platforms including SCADA, EMS, ADMS, WAMS, DERMS, MTA, and DDLR, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
• Conduct platform assessments, fit-gap analysis, solution design, vendor evaluation, and architecture governance to support utility grid modernization initiatives.
• Design and enable OT/IT integration by connecting grid management platforms with enterprise applications, cloud services, analytics, AI/GenAI solutions, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership, stakeholder advisory, presales support, solution assurance, and executive-level guidance while developing reusable architecture assets and supporting RFP responses.

Skills Required

• 15+ years of experience in OT Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Grid Operations Technology, or Digital Transformation within the utilities or energy sector.
• Strong expertise in GE GridOS, SCADA, EMS, ADMS, WAMS, DERMS, MTA, DDLR, PowerOn Advantage, eTerra, and other electricity grid management platforms.
• Proven experience in OT platform architecture, real-time grid operations, telemetry, network modelling, operational data flows, high availability, disaster recovery, and OT cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of OT/IT convergence, cloud integration, data platforms, AI/GenAI, enterprise integration patterns, operational governance, and architecture best practices.
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, solution architecture, presales, vendor management, communication, and executive presentation skills, with experience supporting large-scale utility transformation programs.
