About The Role

Warrikal are currently seeking applications from experienced Electrical Superintendents to join our projects/integrated services division on an 8:6, 2:1 or 5:2 roster. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works are planned and executed safely, efficiently, and effectively.

You will play a key role in providing strong team leadership, driving workforce engagement, performance, productivity, and alignment with Warrikal’s values and culture.

  • Leading in project planning activities, collaborating with engineering teams and project managers to develop electrical strategies and timelines. Oversee the execution of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manages the electrical projects budget, including procurement of equipment, tools, and resources. You will be responsible for optimising resource allocation and maintaining cost control measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to electrical operations, including equipment records, maintenance logs, and safety reports. Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in electrical systems, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Give guidance in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing appropriate solutions. Collaborate with maintenance teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Provide input with construction methodologies, schedules, work packs.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
  • Exemplify and encourage the core values of the business.

About You

This opportunity will suit an electrical nominee with prior HV switching project controls and electrical supervision experience seeking an ongoing opportunity within a growing team.

  • High Voltage switching and installation experience 1kv up to 33kv,
  • Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Clients, Vendors, and co-workers.
  • Display the core values and ethos of the business.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit.

Qualifications/Licences

  • Prior experience as a Senior Electrical supervisor, Electrical Superintendent or Electrical PM.
  • WA Electrical License
  • Provide First Aid (LVR/CPR)
  • White card
  • Current WAH, Confined Spaces and Gas Testing certifications
  • S26 certified or willing to obtain
  • BHP, FMG or Rio Tinto inductions (desirable)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • EC Licence holder or have held an in house nominee licence within the past 24 months
