An exciting opportunity is now available for a Site Manager – Projects to join our Project Construction team. This role is responsible for supervising the construction of medium-density and multi-residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Burbank’s high quality standards.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end construction process across multiple project sites, coordinating trades, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and construction performance across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Supervising the construction of medium-density and multi-residential projects from commencement through to completion
  • Ensuring all contractors and site personnel comply with relevant safety legislation and company requirements
  • Reviewing construction documentation prior to site commencement to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Interpreting building plans, regulations, and codes to monitor construction progress and compliance
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, trades, and deliveries to maintain project schedules
  • Conducting and facilitating mandatory inspections throughout the construction process
  • Monitoring project budgets, Extra to Schedule (ETS) expenditure, and Extensions of Time (EOT) to achieve commercial targets
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project information within ClickHome and other systems
  • Completing quality assurance inspections at key construction stages and ensuring homes meet Burbank quality standards
  • Providing regular project updates to management, development partners, and key stakeholders
  • Managing customer expectations and ensuring all enquiries are addressed professionally and promptly
  • Supporting site safety, housekeeping, compliance audits, and public safety requirements
  • Processing construction documentation, approvals, purchase orders, forecasting, and project reporting in a timely manner
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Applying sound judgement and problem-solving skills to resolve construction challenges and drive successful outcomes

About You

You Will Ideally Bring

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor, or similar role within the residential building industry
  • Experience managing medium-density, townhouse, multi-residential, or project home construction (highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, trades, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of construction scheduling, quality assurance, safety, and budget management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • Confidence using construction management systems such as ClickHome or similar platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
