Project-based | Day Rate | Melbourne/Sydney - Remote within Australia

We're looking for a talented Freelance Illustrator to work on a creatively rewarding brief for a well-known client in the travel industry. This is a project-based role starting ASAP, running for approximately one week, with a competitive day rate on offer.

The Brief

You'll be working with an established travel brand to rebrand and recreate an existing illustrated map, bringing it in line with their new brand guidelines. The work requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to uplift the original piece while translating it into a refreshed visual language.

About You

You're a skilled illustrator who brings both creative flair and commercial sensibility to your work. You'll ideally have experience with:

• Recreating or reimagining existing illustration work within defined brand guidelines
• Illustrated map-making or editorial/infographic illustration
• Working with provided brand assets, colour palettes and style references
• Delivering polished, print-ready artwork
• Adobe Illustrator and/or other relevant design tools
• Working to tight deadlines within a professional client environment

Experience in travel, print or brand illustration is a strong bonus, and a portfolio demonstrating your illustration style — particularly any map or editorial work — is essential.
