BRG has an established track record supporting Defence acquisition and sustainment programs through the provision of highly skilled and security-cleared professionals who deliver capability outcomes across the entire Defence lifecycle.
BRG is currently supporting Defence through the provision of specialist logistics and sustainment resources to the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise (GWEO) and is seeking experienced Defence logistics professionals to support AIR#03 AIR1300 (C43).
Opportunity Overview
These positions support critical Defence capability programs within GWEO, including Australia's hypersonics capability development activities and the sustainment of Defence's growing munitions and explosive ordnance inventory.
The successful candidates will work within highly specialised project teams responsible for delivering integrated logistics support, sustainment planning, inventory management, procurement support and capability assurance activities. The roles require the application of professional judgement, stakeholder engagement, logistics governance and Defence materiel management expertise to ensure Defence capability remains safe, available, supportable and compliant throughout its lifecycle.
Position 1 – Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM)
Overview
A dedicated Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) is required to provide the logistics leadership essential to progressing AIR6007 hypersonic flight trials and early capability maturation activities.
Hypersonic systems place unique demands on Defence, including specialised transport, handling, storage, range support and sustainment requirements that are not replicated elsewhere within the enterprise. These demands require a dedicated logistics specialist capable of integrating supportability considerations throughout the capability development lifecycle.
The ILSM will lead development of the AIR6007 Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and associated Gate documentation, ensuring logistics, sustainment and supportability requirements are appropriately defined, assured and aligned with Government-directed timelines.
The role provides coordinated logistics support to Test and Evaluation activities at the Woomera Test Range, including storage and handling arrangements, specialised movement planning and test facility readiness activities conducted under stringent safety, security and export control requirements.
At the program level, the ILSM will integrate logistics considerations into schedules, work breakdown structures, risk management activities and cost planning, while providing expert review of contractor and industry deliverables. The position delivers the supportability advice required to inform project strategy, support feasibility assessments and ensure Defence meets its policy, legislative and international partner obligations.
The role also provides critical continuity capability by maintaining Defence records, supporting structured knowledge transfer and mitigating disruption associated with APS and ADF workforce rotations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and maintenance of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
Develop logistics and sustainment inputs into Gate documentation and Government submissions.
Coordinate logistics support to hypersonic Test and Evaluation activities.
Manage specialised transport, storage, handling and movement planning activities.

Maintain logistics records and support knowledge management processes.
