Marketing & eCommerce Manager

FuzzYard

We don't do boring. FuzzYard has been shaking up the pet industry since 2003, bold colours, original design, and a genuine refusal to let pet products be an afterthought. We're now in 50+ countries and 15,000+ points of sale, and growing.

This role sits right at the centre of how the world finds us online, and we need someone who's genuinely excited to help us grow, not just maintain what's already there.

The role

As Marketing & eCommerce Manager, you'll own our digital presence and drive sales through our website and digital channels, including email, SEO, loyalty and referral programs, and content. You'll work closely with our external ad agency on paid social and Google, making sure the strategy is sharp and the execution actually delivers, and you'll work with our external dev team to keep our Shopify stores running properly and looking the part.

We need someone who really knows Shopify, not just enough to get by. Themes, apps, page builds, checkout flow, the lot. You don't need to write code from scratch, but you need to know your way around the platform well enough to make things happen quickly, and know when to brief the dev team versus when to just do it yourself.

This isn't a role where you wait to be told what to do. We want ideas. We want someone who looks at what we're doing and immediately sees three ways to make it better, and then actually goes and does it.

This is a full time, in office role based at our head office in Dandenong South. You'll need your own vehicle to get here. And given we're a pet brand through and through, you'll need to genuinely love dogs. We did say that part was obvious.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning and improving our Shopify stores across AU and US, including content, page builds, apps and overall site performance
  • Briefing and collaborating with our ad agency on paid social and Google Ads, bringing your own ideas and holding the strategy to a high standard
  • Planning and running promotional strategy around key seasonal moments, loyalty programs and new product launches
  • Managing EDM campaigns end to end
  • Working with our design team to keep website content fresh, on brand and converting
  • Working with our external developer on bigger technical builds or fixes
  • Keeping an eye on performance across the board and constantly looking for the next opportunity to improve it

What you bring

  • Full working rights in Australia. We're unable to consider applicants on a visa or work permit for this role
  • At least 3 years in a similar eCommerce or digital marketing role
  • Real, hands on Shopify experience. You need to actually know the platform, not just have used it once
  • A solid understanding of paid social and Google Ads, even if you're not running the day to day spend yourself
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills. You can write something people actually want to read
  • A creative mind. You see opportunities other people miss and you're not afraid to suggest something different
  • Genuine energy and a real interest in helping a brand grow, not just keeping the lights on
  • The ability to manage your own workload in a fast paced environment without needing to be chased
  • Your own vehicle, as this role is based onsite at our Dandenong South office
  • A genuine love of dogs. Non negotiable

Marketing qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. We care more about what you've actually done and how you think.

Why FuzzYard

We're not a portfolio brand owned by some faceless conglomerate. We're independent, founder led, and still run by the people who built it. You'll work directly with people who care whether the work is good, not a layer of management between you and the decisions that matter. If you've got a good idea, you'll get to run with it.

Full time, in office. Based in Dandenong South, Victoria.

If you get genuinely excited about a good Shopify build and think beige is a personality flaw, we want to talk to you.

Think you've got what it takes. Show us. Send your CV and a portfolio or examples of work you're proud of to ***email_hidden***

  • Fair warning. We get a lot of applications and we're a small team flat out running a global brand. If you don't hear back straight away, it's not personal. Make yours impossible to ignore.
