At LeavePlus, our mission is to support and protect the wellbeing of construction workers by ensuring they receive the portable leave entitlements they have earned.

As Head of Product, you’ll shape the strategy and roadmap for a product that impacts the lives of all those who work across the building and construction industries. You’ll lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle underpinning the statutory scheme while aligning the technology platforms and regulatory experience. You will provide confident leadership of the product team, while embedding a Product Operating Model across LeavePlus, creating intuitive, reliable solutions that support workers while making compliance easier to understand for employers.

Working at the intersection of product, policy and technology, you’ll drive continuous improvement across our systems and processes, reducing friction, improving usability, and ensuring LeavePlus delivers on its purpose as an effective and innovative digital regulator of Victoria’s portable long service leave scheme for construction workers.

What You'll Do

• Own and drive the digital product strategy and roadmap, translating regulatory priorities into clear product initiatives.
• Establish, implement and continuously mange the embedding of the Product Operating Model across LeavePlus, while partnering with business owners and key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute end‑to‑end product delivery, leading cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive, reliable and compliant solutions.
• Reduce compliance friction by championing user‑centred design across employer and worker journeys.
• Champion data driven decisions utilising data, insights and performance metrics to prioritise, improve and evolve the product over time.

What You'll Bring

• Evidence of establishing and scaling digital products from infancy
• Proven leadership experience setting and driving product vision, strategy and roadmaps in complex regulated environments
• Strong commercial acumen, applying market, customer and data insights to product decisions.

Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional product teams to deliver and scale digital products end‑to‑end.

Deep capability in human‑centred design, balancing user needs with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Clear, influential communicator with experience partnering across engineering, design, data and senior stakeholders.

It's Desirable If You Have

• Demonstrated experience working with agile development methodologies
• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Design thinking accreditation or experience
• Project management certification or equivalent
