About The Role

Reporting into our Service Desk Team Leader, you will be the initial point of contact for first to second level support requests over a variety of systems. Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first and second level support for all IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets and requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new user accounts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT systems, ensuring they are secure and efficient.
  • Participate in IT projects and implementations
  • Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities and resolutions.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures.

About You

We look forward to welcoming someone with prior experience in a similar IT support role ,in addition to:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 3+ years prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems. Familiarity with Microsoft and AutoDesk products is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to meet unexpected workflow demands and strict deadlines.
  • Displays initiative, identifies, and evaluates issues; makes decision in a proactive manner.
  • Self-sufficiency and a high degree of autonomy.
  • Ongoing focus on process improvement initiatives to streamline IT activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business.
