We are looking for the best-in-class Senior Project Manager ideally with backgrounds in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Projects, other infrastructure and/or Construction Projects. We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar investment program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.

About the Senior Project Manager roles

In these roles the Senior Project Manager will oversee and lead large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs from initiation to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, SMEs, contractors, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. This is a leadership role and is responsible for the line management and development of project managers and project engineers.

About you

• 15+ years construction project management experience, delivering large and multi-faceted projects, is essential and infrastructure delivery across complex multi-disciplinary portfolio.

• Civil engineer background will be highly regarded.

• Significant experience in stakeholder engagement and managing complex stakeholders including both internal and external.

• Ability to work autonomously and within team environment to achieve projects outcomes.

• Experience with developing business case to justify investment needs.

• Proven leadership / senior management experience is beneficial.

• Proven experience with people management.

• Working within and leading large, multi-disciplinary integrated teams and/or alliances.

• Proven experience working across design and construction phase.
