The Opportunity
As the CRM & Automation Specialist for TripADeal, you will support the delivery and evolution of our CRM, marketing automation, and advanced personalisation capabilities across email, push, and customer lifecycle channels. As our business transitions toward fully integrated personalisation, you will perfectly balance hands-on campaign execution with the strategic development of tailored customer experiences.
In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the Digital & CRM Manager to move TripADeal from broad database marketing to highly targeted, data-led, and behaviour-driven customer journeys. Utilising Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data 360, and Salesforce Personalisation, you will help build internal capabilities, define innovative personalisation use cases, and ensure our communications are commercially relevant and scalable.
Organisational Structure
This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position. Working 100% onsite from either our Gold Coast, Varsity Lakes Office or our Byron Bay Head Quarters working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!
A Day in the Life
- Build, test, QA, and deploy accurate daily retail activations, tactical campaigns, and automated journeys across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and OneSignal.
- Support the development of a practical personalisation roadmap, identifying use cases that improve customer relevance, conversion rates, and lifetime value.
- Assist with the requirements gathering, testing, and rollout of Data 360 and Salesforce Personalisation initiatives.
- Develop and optimise advanced audience segmentation based on customer behaviour, lifecycle stages, travel interests, and intent signals.
- Partner with Creative, Data, Technology, and Product teams to align lifecycle moments, campaign assets, and data logic across all touch points.
- Execute structured test-and-learn plans (A/B testing subject lines, timing, and dynamic treatments) and use BI reporting to drive evidence-based decisions.
To be a Front Running Candidate
- 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience building, QA'ing, and executing complex lifecycle journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Exposure to or experience with Salesforce Personalisation, Data 360 (Data Cloud), or comparable customer data platforms (CDPs).
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, data extensions, campaign targeting rules, and basic email/data logic (SQL, AMPscript, or HTML is highly regarded).
- Proven ability to monitor campaign performance, build snapshots, and translate behavioural insights into continuous optimisations.
- A proactive problem-solver who can navigate major technical platform migrations while keeping day-to-day operations seamless.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
