The Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Assurance Advisor working within our Safety, Risk & Environment Team.
This is your opportunity to support the delivery and evolution of DBCT P/L’s assurance framework through ongoing design, implementation, regular monitoring and review.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating the internal and external audit programs, providing trusted advice across the business, and ensuring improvement of management systems, processes and alignment with contemporary standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Facilitate the internal & external audit programs to maintain ISO certifications and drive continual improvement of our management system and the Business Assurance Framework
- Facilitate consistent application of control of information on behalf of the Management System Representatives
- Facilitate assurance activities including change management as required to improve or enhance the effectiveness of management systems
- Maintain a compliant internal audit program in accordance with OMC obligations and ISO certifications
- Management of contractor resources and contracts in line with assurance activities
- Identify and support suggested improvement opportunities to relevant management systems, including opportunities for system integration (ISO 14001,45001 & 9001).
- Support the preparation of Performance Reporting from systems-based data, including assurance program trend analysis
- Monitor processes to ensure ‘health’ of management systems is monitored and maintained
What You’ll Bring
You’re someone who thrives on purpose-driven work and enjoys influencing positive change. You’ll also have:
- Lead Auditor ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 – Integrated Management System
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 31000 & ISO 45001 standards
- Strong understanding of Document/Records Management or related discipline or strong knowledge in document control and management processes and standards
- Advanced planning and organisational skills including time management
- Professional standard and intermediate to advanced technical written communication skills, adjustable to the target audience
- Experience in managing audit programs
- Proven ability to analyse data, generate insights, and deliver oversight reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong organisational problem-solving capability and analytical thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Proficiency in and confidence working with data and reporting systems, including an ability to effectively use MS Office, SharePoint, Visio and Adobe Acrobat
