- $96,281 Total Remuneration Package which is based on a full-time employee and inclusive of 12% Employer superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About You
You are a proactive and organised professional with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You can work effectively with customers, contractors and colleagues, manage competing priorities, and deliver practical solutions. Committed to high-quality service, compliance and safe, efficient outcomes, you bring experience in waste management, environmental services or a related operational field.
Key Responsibilities
- Support waste management and resource recovery services through operational monitoring, site inspections and safe, compliant service delivery.
- Respond to customer enquiries, requests and complaints, collaborating with customers, contractors and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Monitor compliance with environmental approvals, legislation and site management plans, including investigations and illegal dumping responses.
- Analyse and report operational data to support performance reporting, identify improvements and enhance Waste Team services.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, compliance, or a similar operational environment.
- Ability to conduct site inspections, identify operational or compliance issues, and maintain accurate records in accordance with procedures.
- Strong customer service skills, with experience handling enquiries, investigating requests, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Experience collecting, analysing, and reporting operational data to support performance monitoring and service improvement.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team.
Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV level qualification (or relevant vocational training), in waste management, environmental operations, compliance, local government, business administration or a related discipline
- Current C Class Driver Licence
