As our Area Manager you’ll lead the performance, people and customer experience across a diverse store network spanning Queensland South.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering results - driving sales, lifting capability, and embedding a high-performance culture across your region. With a mix of metro and regional stores, this role offers real breadth, autonomy, and impact.

This is a hands-on role for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves developing people, and knows how to turn strategy into results on the ground.

What you’ll be responsible for

Driving Performance

  • Lead and deliver on sales and profitability across your region
  • Identify opportunities to lift performance and drive growth
  • Partner with Store Managers to maximise results store by store

Leading High-Performing Teams

  • Coach, develop and elevate Store Managers and their teams
  • Build leadership capability and succession across the region
  • Drive accountability, engagement and a strong team culture

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure consistency in how stores operate day to day
  • Lift standards across inventory, processes and compliance
  • Continuously improve how we work

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across every store
  • Act on customer feedback and resolve issues quickly
  • Keep the customer front of mind in every decision

Services & Growth

  • Drive performance across in-store services including car seat installations, appointments, hire & cleaning
  • Focus on key metrics like conversion, utilisation, revenue and customer satisfaction

Commercial & Financial Leadership

  • Own your regional budget and financial outcomes
  • Use data and insights to make smart, commercial decisions

About You

  • Experienced multi-site retail leader (5+ years), ideally across complex regions
  • Commercially driven, with a track record of delivering results
  • Hands-on leader who builds capability and drives accountability
  • Passionate about customer experience and team development
  • Strong financial and operational capability
  • Confident communicator who can influence at all levels
  • Agile, solutions-focused and comfortable balancing competing priorities
  • Safety and compliance focused
  • Full driver’s license and comfortable with regular travel across QLD South
