Join a team of experienced WHSE professionals who are passionate about making workplaces safer. As an Assessor, you will play an important role in helping businesses improve their WHSE capability and demonstrate their commitment to safe and compliant work practices.
You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying vendors work, health, safety, and environment (WHSE) documentation against the requirements of the Cm3 Prequalification Assessment Scheme. You will also provide coaching and support, working closely with contractors to help them navigate compliance requirements, build capability and achieve successful prequalification outcomes.

You will be supported by a team of experienced assessors and subject matter experts who genuinely enjoy working together and sharing their expertise
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Southbank, with hybrid working arrangements that support a healthy balance between collaboration in the office and flexibility to work from home.
Some of the tasks
- Conduct WHSE assessments to determine vendor capability
- Review WHSE assessment submissions within agreed timelines
- Assist vendors close the gaps in their WHSE systems
- Respond to queries (via phone or email) and provide guidance and support to vendors
- Conduct risk reviews in line with defined criteria and protocols
- Adhere to relevant systems, policies, procedures, and processes
- Participate collaboratively in WHSE discussions and project work
Some of the skills required
- You hold Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- 2 - 3 years previous experience within a WHSE operational environment
- Safety management and audit expertise
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to WHSE compliance
- Attention to detail
- Ability to engage stakeholder groups and bring people on a journey
- A problem-solving mindset to mitigate future issues
- High level of written and verbal communication supporting diverse stakeholder groups
