About The Role
CNV is offering a full-time ongoing role (1.0 FTE, 38 hours per week) based in Bendigo. As Team Leader, you will coach and mentor practitioners, oversee workflows and risk responses, and ensure practice is grounded in evidence-based frameworks, feminist principles and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead, mentor and strengthen the capability of specialist practitioners in a fast-paced environment.
- Guide day-to-day service delivery and support thoughtful prioritisation based on risk, urgency and client need.
- Champion trauma-informed, integrated practice across a multidisciplinary setting.
- Contribute your ideas and insights to program planning, service development, quality improvement and evaluation.
- Build and nurture strong partnerships with community services, government and sector stakeholders.
About You
You are a values-led leader who brings confidence, compassion and sound judgement to complex work. You will have experience in family violence, child wellbeing or another community services setting, and you are ready to use your strengths to support practitioners, strengthen practice and contribute to meaningful systems change.
Your strengths and experience will include:
- Experience leading, supervising, coaching or developing practitioners to grow confidence and capability.
- A strong understanding of family violence, trauma-informed practice and child wellbeing, or the ability to apply related practice knowledge in this context.
- The ability to bring empathy, clarity and decisiveness to challenging situations.
- Highly developed communication, collaboration and relationship-building strengths.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary or systems-based environments, with confidence building shared understanding and coordinated responses.
- A commitment to feminist practice, cultural safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.
Most importantly, you are motivated by making a difference, building on people’s strengths and creating the conditions for teams to do their best work.
