We are currently offering an exciting Business Traineeship Program for recent Year 12 (HSC) school leavers who are interested in starting a career in international logistics and freight forwarding.
This 2-year traineeship provides hands-on workplace experience combined with formal training and mentoring. During the program, you will complete a Certificate III in International Freight Forwarding while gaining real industry experience. Successful trainees may have the opportunity to move into permanent roles within the DHL / Hillebrand Gori group.
About the Role
As a Business Trainee, you will support our Operations and Pricing teams and gain exposure to both import and export logistics operations. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and overseas offices while learning how global freight movements are coordinated.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and managing shipment orders in company systems
- Support import and export documentation processes
- Help coordinate shipments from origin to final delivery
- Communicate with overseas offices and international partners
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers
- Liaise with transport providers regarding deliveries
About You
- Recently completed Year 12 (HSC)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Interest in business, logistics or international trade
No prior work experience is required — full training will be provided.
