Responsibilities As a switchboard manufacturer / builder, you’ll be responsible for the following tasks (under supervision):
Building mechanical electrical switchboards and building automation control panels including:
- Power Wiring
- Control Wiring
- Metering Installation
- Modular switchboard assembly
- Assisting in BMS site installation and connection
Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, it’s beneficial to have:
- Experience in electrical switchboard and panel building (preferred, but not essential)
- An electrical license (preferred, but not essential)
- The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and various equipment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management skills
- Self-motivation, reliability, and a sense of pride in your work
- A valid driver’s license
- White card, Asbestos Awareness, Working with Asbestos & Silica Awareness certifications (or the ability to obtain)
