We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join a high-profile residential project in Newcastle. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work on a landmark multi-use residential development of 170+ residential apartments and a commercial facilities upgrade. This is a great opportunity to get on a project from start to finish with a salary of up to $210,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily site program to keep works on track, on time, and within budget.
• Lead and supervise trades on site to maintain productivity and quality.
• Oversee plant, equipment, and materials to support efficient project delivery.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with safety standards and site procedures.
• Monitor workmanship and quality to achieve a high standard of finish.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to support overall site operations.
• Assist with coaching, mentoring, and managing site staff.
• Address site issues and performance matters promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused site culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman on commercial or residential construction projects.
• Strong structures experience is essential.
• Preferably proven experience on projects valued at $50 million+.
• Strong background in class 2 multi-unit residential construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, trade coordination, and site delivery.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Site Manager and wider project team.
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage competing priorities on a busy site.
