About the role

As a Workplace Technology Engineer you will deliver reliable, secure and modern workplace technology services that enable productivity across corporate, operational and remote environments.

This is a hands on role where you’ll provide level 2/3 service delivery across endpoint, collaboration, and workplace technology services. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in line with the Technology Operations operating model and strategic roadmap.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver Level 2/3 support for end user devices including laptops, desktops, tablets and mobiles across Windows, Apple, Android and Lenovo environments including Operational Technology (OT).
  • Maintain the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and manage device provisioning, lifecycle and compliance using Intune, Autopilot and MECM
  • Support and optimise collaboration and productivity services including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 applications, Teams Rooms and associated workplace technologies
  • Support identity, access and password management services and provide advanced troubleshooting and field support where required
  • Resolve incidents, service requests and escalations in line with agreed service expectations
  • Support continuous improvement, governance and project delivery initiatives

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience in workplace technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar workplace technology, end user computing or modern endpoint role
  • Experience supporting enterprise users in operational, corporate and remote environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Endpoint solutions including Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Mobiles and Virtual Desktops
  • Microsoft MECM, Intune & Autopilot
  • Windows 10/11, Apple and Android device ecosystems
  • Microsoft 365 platform including Teams, OneDrive and Teams Rooms
  • Identity and access technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID and privileged access controls
  • Endpoint security, collaboration technologies, print and related workplace technology services
